Standard First Aid (SFA)
This two day in depth course ensures you are prepared to assist anyone who needs first aid or lifesaving skills including CPR/AED. Developing knowledge and mastering practical skills is the focus of this course while meeting workplace safety and insurance board legislation.
Standard First Aid (Blended)
For those that are short on time or enjoy independent study, this course blends online learning with in class practical training to ensure participants gain confidence in their first aid and lifesaving skills. 8 hours of online learning and 8 hours in the classroom ensures you have the knowledge and skills to provide first aid and lifesaving skills.
Standard First Aid (Recertification)
This one day course if specifically for those who have a current Standard First Aid Certification that is about to expire. One day of knowledge review and demonstration of first aid/CPR skills will ensure you will be prepared to offer help to anyone in need for another 3 years.
Emergency First Aid (EFA)
Gain valuable knowledge and skills in this one day course which covers topics essential to improve lifesaving skills including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED). This course meets worker safety and insurance board legislation.
First Responder (FR)
Comprehensive first aid and CPR skills for professional first responders or those training to become first responders.
First Responder (FR to EMR bridge)
If you have an interest in becoming a first responder then this is the course for you! Participants will receive skills and knowledge required to provide care at a professional level with scenario based training that reflects real-life situations.
CPR/AED
After completion of this course, participants will have the knowledge and skills to apply the lifesaving skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and proper techniques used for a choking adult, child or baby. This CPR/AED course meets worker safety and insurance board provincial/territorial legislation.
Marine Basic First Aid (MBFA)
This two day course provides focused topics from the marine/fishing industry for those that are expected to provide first aid in a marine environment. Meeting the requirements of Transport Canada outlined in Transport Publication (TP) 13008 E, participants will attain scenario based training to prepare for unique situations that may occur while at sea.
Marine Advanced First Aid
Designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to apply immediate first aid in the event of accident or illness on board a vessel. Participants will gain knowledge of marine first aid equipment, and the transferring of patients from a ship. All aspects of course are focused in a marine setting. Course meets the requirements of Transport Canada outlined in Transport Publication (TP) 13008E.
Pet First Aid

Wilderness and Remote First Aid
This adventurous course is for those who have an interest in sharpening skills and strategies to provide extended care to those in need for up to 24 hours. A portion of this course is taught in an outdoor setting that requires greater physical activity and endurance than typical first aid training.
Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
This in depth course, offers further discovery into the knowledge and skills required to provide lifesaving skills and assessments to those needing care at a professional level, including patient assessments, on-going care and transport to a healthcare facility. Course content follows the National Occupational Competency Profiles (NOCP) as defined by the Paramedic Association of Canada. The dynamic training in this course offers scenario based on real-life situations.
Cannabis in the Workplace: Management Training (EN or FR)
Cannabis in the Workplace: Training for Workers (EN or FR)
Cannabis in the Workplace: Training for Workers aims to give employees the best possible understanding of the differences between medical and recreational cannabis, their responsibilities when using medical cannabis in the workplace, and employer responsibilities. This course explains the laws relating to human rights legislation and the duty to accommodate employees who have medical authorization to use cannabis.

Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) – Energy Services

In the TDG course you will learn – Introduction to TDG, its regulations and proper training, proper documentation, safety marks and means of containment, forbidden goods, exemptions and special provisions as well as, immediate reporting and procedures to follow in the event of an emergency. A printable certificate is available upon completion.
Psychological First Aid – Self-Care
(EN or FR)
This online course assists learners in developing a personal understanding of the effects of stress, loss, trauma and grief, with emphasis on self-care and personal protection. Learners will be introduced to the Red Cross Look, Listen, Link, Live model and will learn how to cope with the effects of various types of stress. This course can also be taken in combination with the Red Cross Caring for Others online course to supplement and strengthen an overall psychosocial wellness program.

The Medical Terminology course provides an introduction to the professional language used by those who are directly and indirectly involved with the art of healing. The course will also introduce those not currently involved in the health care environment with an introduction to the language of medicine. In addition, the program will provide participants with the basics of human anatomy and physiology.
