Course Description: This course is designed for health care professionals with a requirement to learn and/or review basic ECG interpretation in preparation for a Heart and Stroke ACLS course and/or work in a clinical environment.
Intended Audience: Health care professionals that want a better understanding of basic cardiac rhythms and basic 12-lead ECG interpretation.
Course Prerequisites: Some medical knowledge and training.

- Related anatomy and physiology
- Components of the cardiac cycle, arrhythmias, therapies, and electrical treatment
- Practice identifying cardiac rhythms on ECG strips
Course duration (time/days): 1-day (8 hrs)
Certification: Certification in ECG is valid forever
